Milenium Medical Center Costa Rica

This medical center has a kind employee as i experienced with my first visit.

If you have the Sanitas app, you check in and get your waiting number there. Very simple and easy. I waited less than 5 minutes for my appointment for general practitioner and I arrived about 10 minutes earlier anyways.

This centre is completely incompetent. A week ago we made an appoinment with a doctor at the same medical centre for a particular breath test. When we noticed that they had given me the wrong instructions for the test preparation, we called to double check that my appoinment was for the corrrect test. We explained exactly what test I needed. The receptionist wrote everything down and checked with the analysis team. They said yes, I had the right appointment and the right test instructions (even though the instructions were obviously for a different medical problem!). After 24 hours of a special diet to prepare, I came to the centre and was told that they could not do the test - that they do not do this particular test at Costa Rica! I was so angry. We could not have done any more. This is not a problem of miscommunication - my partner is a native Spanish speaker. This is a complete lack of professionalism. No apologies either. I was left to have to make my own appointment with another hospital and I will have to prepare for the test all over again. Do not go to Costa Rica!
